Specific Model: Studio 1555
Problem: I shutdown my computer, using the correct shutdown button, and everything turns off except the power button pulsates as if it is in sleep.

Formatted the hard disk and rebuilt the system from scratch with dell drivers. Notes: I reinstalled Vista. Installed all dell drivers and updated Vista with all available updates. |

Went into BIOS to disable non-essential things Notes: I disabled things like USB-Legacy support but they shouldn't matter. There is also very little I could do in the BIOS especially for power management. |

Very Good. It is fast to boot, the screen is crisp, fast to load things. There are no problems with any of the ports (I've checked) and everything is in a GOOD and working order except the POWER BUTTON PULSATES when off.
